a much travelled man and it was about time that he had his own page--his
photographic skills are excellent and some of his wry comments fit the bill in

Photographs by John Gill from his 1998 and 2000 visits to India June 2000 John then travelled to South India from Gauhati to Trivandrum by train and returning to Delhi for his flight back to his home in the United Kingdom. His trip spanned eight weeks, and he had the good fortune to meet many old friends. He also made some new friends including our "Delhi Correspondent" Kailash Chaurasia. John is currently working on his travel log book and trying to finish his recordings of the times he had on this trip, and he promises to give us a more detailed story of his travels soon. In the meantime I hope that you will find the following photos to aid your own personal memories.
